The names of all successful applicants in the federation are included in the Uganda Police Force’s selected candidates. As a result, all selected candidates will be screened and interviewed. Finally, individuals that cleared the UPF screening and interview will be hired full-time.

All Successful UPF Candidates are To Report To Designated Quarantine Centers.

This is to notify all applicants who applied for probationary Police Constables in the recently ended recruitment exercises that the list of successful candidates is now available and exhibited at the various District and Regional Police Headquarters. To confirm whether or not they were successful, all candidates should verify their names at the local District/Divisional Police Headquarters.

All successful applicants must report to the different quarantine centers, where they will be quarantined for two weeks before reporting to the Police Training School – Kabalye to begin the Initial Police Recruit Training Course.

They will be extensively checked for Covid-19 symptoms and instructed on Covid-19 awareness and safety practices at the quarantine centers.

We would like to thank all applicants who expressed interest in joining the police at PPCS. A total of 17,378 applications were received by 19,09,2020 from 28 regions. The highest number of applicants came from East Kyoga (Soroti), followed by North Kyoga (Lira), West Nile (Arua), and Bukedi {Tororo}, while the lowest number of applicants Came from Mt Moroto (Moroto), Katonga (Mpigi), Savanna (Luwero) and Wamala (Mityana).  A competent recruitment team has commenced the selection process and we expect the best eligible candidates with very high standards to be selected.

All successful applicants will be invited for oral and written interviews, where they must clearly demonstrate the wide range of personal qualities and attributes essential to becoming an officer with the UPF. These include the highest levels of personal integrity, effective communication skills, personal effectiveness, a proven level of physical fitness, a realistic appreciation of the roles and duties of a police officer, problem-solving skills, and a strong desire for personal development.
