Consistent Pay: You are paid twice a month, on the 1st and 15th of each month, according to your pay grade and service requirements.

Paid vacation: You are entitled to 2.5 days of paid vacation per month, up to a maximum of 60 days per year.

Active-duty troops can get term life insurance for up to $200,000 for $18 per month.
