Civil Defence Training Update 2023

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) previously announced a training activity for shortlisted and qualified applicants, in which all shortlisted candidates who were successful in the recently ended physical screening exam will be physically trained. The training will last between 2 and 4 weeks.

The primary goal of the Civil Defence recruitment training is to educate newly recruited officers on self-defence and to provide them with a thorough understanding of how the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps operates.

NSCDC Training Centres 2023

The Civil Defense Training will be held at NSCDC Zonal Command Headquarters in Kaduna, the Games Village in Bauchi, the Federal University of Lafia in Nasarawa State, the NSCDC Training School in Oji River, Enugu State, the Civil Defence College of Security Management in Abeokuta, and NABTEB in Benin, Edo State are among the centres.

The training will take place at several Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps training camps across Nigeria’s 36 states, including the Federal Capital Territory. See the states listed below;

NSCDC Training Requirements 2023

All applicants who are attending the Nigeria Security & Civil Defense Corps training, please wear white pants/shorts and a polo shirt. You’ll also need to have your passport photo and any other relevant paperwork, such as face masks, emailed to you ahead of time.

A few extra things to remember before arriving at our event centre: -dress comfortably so that you may move around during the exercises. Check to see whether there are any nearby facilities before wearing anything inside out.

Candidates should bring the following items to the training ground.

  1. Two Recent Passports Photographs with your name boldly written on the back
  2. One white-coloured office flat-file jacket
  3. Birth certificate/declaration of age
  4. Duly completed guarantor’s form
  5. Certificate of origin
  6. Educational qualifications

Candidates who fail to appear at the training camp will automatically be disqualified.
