The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board announced the date for the registration process for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Exam 2023. The examination body in a statement said the registration of candidates for the 2023 exam will begin Wednesday, February 15th, 2023. By this extension, the sale of ePINs would end on Monday, February 20th, 2023, while UTME registration would end on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2023.

The Head of Public Affairs and Protocol for JAMB, Dr. Fabian Benjamin in a statement made note that candidates must possess their National Identity Number (NIN) before they can commence with the registration.

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board announced the date for the registration process for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Exam 2023. The examination body in a statement said the registration of candidates for the 2023 exams will begin on Wednesday, February 15th, 2023. How to Purchase A JAMB From 2023

To purchase and register for jamb, candidates are advised to visit any of the accredited JAMB registration centers to fill out their forms and complete the registration.

Candidates are required to have the following before commencing with their registration;

  • An active e-mail address 
  • An active mobile number
  • National Identity Number (NIN)
  • JAMB ePIN
  • A JAMB profile
  • Accurate information concerning your personal detail.
  • Check Jamb iBass to know if you are eligible to write the exam (this can be done by checking on their official website)

Where and How TO Pay And Purchase  JAMB ePIN 2022

The JAMB ePIN can be purchased from banks and any JAMB-accredited outlets. You can visit their official website to get a full list of the participating banks from which you can make payments to get your e-PIN.

Payments can be made using the following methods

  • Via banks – Paying directly in the bank
  • Via POS – This is available at the different JAMB offices or accredited outlets
  • Via Mobile Money – Available at accredited outlets
  • Via the ATM – This should be done at participating banks, not just any ATM
  • JAMB Portal – Visit the official website; jamb.org.ng
  • USSD (NIBSS/ERCAS) – Dial *565*6*55019# enter the profile code and follow the instructions.

NOTE: The ePIN will be sent to the candidate’s provided mobile number after payment has been made.

When is JAMB 2022 Exams Stating?

The 2023 CBT EXAMINATION will commence on Saturday, April 29, and end on Friday, May 12, 2023. Foreign centres’ UTME is scheduled for Monday, 30th May 2023, at all nine foreign centers.

The venue of the examination will be at any center in the candidate’s chosen examination town(s)

JAMB DOES NOT POST ANY CANDIDATE TO ANY EXAMINATION TOWN (OR GROUP OF TOWNS) OTHER THAN THE ONE CHOSEN BY THE CANDIDATE AT THE POINT OF REGISTRATION. CANDIDATES ARE, HOWEVER, ADVISED TO REGISTER ON TIME BEFORE THE AVAILABLE SPACES IN THEIR TOWN OF CHOICE OR GROUP OF TOWNS ARE EXHAUSTED. DUE TO DISCOVERED CONSPIRACY AMONG SOME CBT CENTRES, NO EXAMINATION TOWN WITH FEW CENTRES IS ALLOWED. MANY TOWNS HAVE BEEN MERGED

Candidates are required to reprint their JAMB slip to get details on the date they will be sitting for their exam and also the centers they will be carrying out the exercises.

How to Apply for the 2023 JAMB Form in Foreign Countries

  • The JAMB Registration fee for candidates from the nine foreign countries is $20 or its equivalent in each of the nine countries.
  • Candidates from the nine foreign countries are to download the Application from the Board’s website (www.jamb.gov.ng), complete and submit it with the fee at the nine designated centres as indicated on the website.

Foreign Candidates are to visit the following foreign missions;

  1.  Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire
  2. Accra, Ghana
  3. Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  4. Beau, Cameroun
  5. Cotonou, Benin Republic
  6. Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
  7. Johannesburg, South Africa
  8. London, United Kingdom
  9. Berlin, Germany

The procedure for registration at the nine foreign centres only is as follows:

  • Registration fee for candidates from the nine foreign countries is $20 or it’s equivalent in each of the nine countries’ local currency
  • Candidates from the nine foreign countries are to download the Application from the Board’s website (www.jamb.gov.ng), complete and submit it with the fee at the nine designated centres as indicated on the website.

Foreign candidates visit www.jamb.gov.ng/efacility

  1. create a profile
  2. Login to the profile
  3. On the menu on the left pane, click on 2023 Foreign UTME/DE registration
  4. Go through guided questions until the payment page
  5. Make payment using any of the authorized cards
  6. Complete the registration directly online

NOTE

Candidates are advised to visit the JAMB support portal jamb.gov.ng/support or visit the Headquarters or State Offices to lay complaints or request support if the need arises.
